HOPE's progress

Haiti Outreach Pwoje Espwa (H.O.P.E.) is a rural health organization with 25 years of experience providing last-mile health care to the people of Borgne, Haiti. Through USAID's Diaspora Partnership Accelerator, H.O.P.E. hired an additional community health nurse and an additional outreach staff member to serve the people of Borgne. As part of their effort to boost disaster preparedness with the assistance from USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance and Miyamoto International, they will also be training their outreach team on disaster preparedness strategies to integrate into their ongoing outreach efforts with individuals and families in the area.
