Diaspora Partnership Accelerator (DPA) Project funded by USAID

June-November 2021

The Diaspora Partnership Accelerator (DPA) is a pilot project designed to bring new voices and perspectives to the Bureau of Humanitarian Affairs (BHA) at the USAID overall diaspora engagement strategy and sit at the table with BHA in order to better identify and prioritize the humanitarian needs affecting vulnerable communities, design and implement better solutions to those problems, and test an innovative partnership model with new and non-traditional actors. Consequently, this pilot’s direct engagement of diaspora organizations speaks directly to USAID’s push outlined in the Journey to Self-Reliance and the New Partnerships Initiative.
